Glen Powell was born on October 21, 1988 (aged 34 as of 2023) in Austin, Texas, USA, to Glen Thomas Powell Sr. and Cyndy Powell.
Both of his parents are actors by profession. He also has two sisters, Leslie Powell, a Los Angeles-based musical artist and Lauren Powell, a businesswoman. He is of Polish-British Isles ancestry from his father’s and mother’s side respectively(1).
He attended Westwood high school and later The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Radio, Television and Film.
Right as a child, he was passionate about acting and wanted to be a part of the entertainment industry and follow in his parent’s footsteps. He was also very interested in physical activities and sports such as football and lacrosse.
He was a Texas all-state lacrosse player. He also wanted to be a firefighter, growing up. In his school days, he was the president of the business and leadership club.
