Guneet Monga was born on November 21, 1983, in Delhi, India. Guneet received her degree in mass communications from Madhubala Institute of Mass Communication and Electronic Media affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, in 2004.
Guneet Monga started her career as a production coordinator for international productions, most notably Vic Sarin’s Partition,.
After moving to Mumbai in 2006, Guneet began her career in the film industry with the cricket film “Say Salaam India” in 2007. Guneet then worked on “Rang Rasiya” and “Dasvidaniya” in 2008. During the production of “Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai” in 2009, which was produced by Balaji Telefilms, Monga met director-producer Anurag Kashyap. Later in 2009, she joined Anurag Kashyap Films. Later joined Anurag Kashyap Films in late 2009.
In 2008, Guneet founded her own production company called Sikhya Entertainment and a line production company. Later, Guneet Monga collaborated with Anurag Kashyap and worked on several films together including Gangs of Wasseypur Part I & II (2012) and That Girl in Yellow Boots (2011).
