The Academy Awards nominees for the 94th Academy Awards has been revealed earlier. Tracee Ellis Ross and comedian Leslie Jordan presented the Oscar nominations. In contrast, various guests, including actress Phylicia Rashad, wrestler Titus O’Neil, a group of firemen, announced other honours.
The 91st Academy Awards will be presented on Sunday, March 27, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. All 23 of the Academy Award nominations for 2022 have been announced.
The next Academy Awards ceremony is scheduled for February of 2022.This year’s celebration of cinema is filled with a moment of enormous upheaval and transition in the film business. The COVID-19 epidemic has wreaked havoc on the box office, resulting in the loss of several Oscar hopefuls.
Many media conglomerates have formed their in-house alternative to Netflix, and this is fundamentally changing the way they develop and release films. WarnerMedia premiered all of its new movies on HBO Max in 2021, including the likes of “Dune” and “King Richard,” at the same time they opened in theatres.
If this year’s Best Picture race is any indication, it will be one of the most competitive in years, with a mix of big-budget successes as well as more niche offerings. With fresh faces in the acting categories, this year’s Oscars will have a better chance of beating last year’s lowest-watched show.
