Sasha Alexander is an American actress and TV director. Alexander was born on May 17, 1973 in California, US. She has been active in the film industry since 1997. Along with being an actress she is also playing a role as mother of two children.
She was born as Suzana Drobnjakovic as her original name. When she was in seventh grade she began acting in school productions. In her school days she was also an ice skater but had to stop because of a knee injury.
Through her high school and college she continued with acting and later moved to New York city to act in summer stock and Shakespeare festivals. She completed her graduation from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinema-television where she was member of the sorority Kappa Alpha Theta.
